• How can we gather?

  There are so many ways to be part of Gather27! Whether you're inviting a few friends into your living room, bringing your church or community together, or gathering churches across your region, there's a place for everyone.

  Gather Your Friends

  Invite the people already in your life to gather in your home, dorm, or another welcoming space to worship, pray, and experience Gather27 together.

  Gather Your Community

  Bring your church, campus, ministry, or community together to hear what God is doing around the world and respond together.

  Gather Your Region

  Unite churches and ministries across your city or region for a shared experience of worship, prayer, and a call to make Jesus known.

  You don't need a big venue or an elaborate plan. We'll provide resources and guidance to help you get started.

  However you gather, you have a part to play. God is moving. Move with Him.

• What do I need to provide my attendees?

  Keep it simple! You don't need anything elaborate to host a meaningful Gather Group. Create a welcoming space where people can gather, worship, pray, and respond to what God is doing. What matters most is bringing people together to experience Gather27.

• Are there promotional materials available?

  Absolutely! We want to make it easy for you to invite your community to be part of Gather27. Our Asset Library includes promotional videos, graphics, and other creative resources to help you spread the word and prepare for your Gather Group.

• Is there a program schedule available for hosts?

  We want to help you plan your Gather Group while leaving room for what God will do! While a detailed broadcast schedule won't be available in advance, you'll find a sample schedule in our Host Resources to help you prepare.

  Use it as a starting point and feel free to adapt it to what works best for your community.

• Can I provide my own worship at my Gather Group?

  Absolutely! We encourage you to worship alongside the global Church during Gather27, but you're also welcome to lead worship in your own gathering. You can mute or pause the broadcast to sing in your own language, include live worship, or choose songs that are meaningful to your community.

  Our hope is that every Gather Group has the freedom to worship, pray, and respond to what God is doing in a way that serves the people gathered.

• What do I need to watch Gather27?

  You need internet connection.

  Best option: Network cable (fastest and most reliable)

  Other option: WiFi (Need to know: network name and password, where your modem and router are). You can use data from a cell service on your phone or tablet as a backup plan in case your internet gets finicky.

  Test your internet speed on the WiFi that you will be livestreaming on:

  • Go to speedtest.net
  • Hit “Go”
  • Look at the download speed. You want a minimum of 5-10 Mb/sec.

  You need a device to stream the event.

  Best option: Laptop

  2nd best option: Tablet

  3rd best option: Phone

  You need to connect your device to a television.

  If you are using a laptop,

  Best option: HDMI Cable

  2nd Best Option: VGA Cable (if you have an older TV) You will need an adapter for most laptops. Google “Your computer HDMI adaptor” to find one that will work for you.

  If you are using a tablet or phone,

  Best option: HDMI adaptor, which plugs from the HDMI cord to your charging port on your phone or tablet. The HDMI cord then plugs into your TV.

  You can also use: Chromecast, Apple Mirroring/AirPlay, or a Projector

  Do not use: The internet browser on your SmartTV, Roku, Streaming apps on your AppleTV, RightNow Media’s website or app, or IF:TV
